okay I'm in loopey babble mode..so here was my day..there are new fish in the tank!
Well..after falling asleep at 2AM...I woke up at 6AM...see proves my theory about my 4 hour sleep cycle..bleh..anyway..spent the morning writing..hence part 9 of my RC fic...working on next part now..well kinda
Also started a fic for geonn's ficathon...what is it with me and causing Sam pain..*headdesk*..RC is trying to knock her off me thinks..heh...anyway...
I stripped the fish tank..cleaned all the algae off of everything..had to toss the fake plant..it was to much trouble to scrub those little leaves...put Minnie and Terline back in and they were like "What happened to all the veggies!"
Wrote a little more..wasted time...watched the Rachel Ray show..got cool recipe for a pizza I'm gonna make after next grocery store trip...when my Uncle finally calls and tells me he's ready to go pick up my grandmother..this was around 12pm
We went and ate lunch then picked up my grandmother and carried her to the doctor's appointment in Greenwood...which usually doesn't take long to finish..so...I went to Wally World to get fish!
I ended up with three new fish....Spook, an albino copybara...Flash, a little algae eater...and Cleo, a calico fantail goldfish...yes I know I'm stretching the limits of my tank but Spook and Flash are both less than an inch long and Cleo's not even as big as Minnie(she still is the big fish in the tank)...
I got them and some other supplies then drove back to the hospital...were I waited and waited..for 3 hours!...I was getting really worried about the fish..but finally she was finished and we came home...the fish were very happy to get out of the plastic bag.
Got them all settled then fed the girls their flakes and dropped an algae pellet in for the boys since I had cleaned up the tank..they needed food too...man o man...Minnie and Terline zoned in on that pellet and refused to swim away from it..."Veggies!"...so I had to split it up and scatter it around the tank so the others could have some too....I ended up with two very fat goldfish..but they seem to be okay.
I'll have to observe them for a few days before I write an new goldfish tale..need to figure out their personalities.
