The duo managed to make it out of the precinct, with only minor damage to their manly egos. They found Olivia and Alex, along with Munch, waiting beside a non-descript black van, the two women were laughing about something Munch was telling them.
“Alright…story time is over, let’s get this over with before I rub blisters on my feet from these shoes,” grumbled Elliot, as he limped up and pulled open the side door.
“I told you, should have taken that pair of shoes home to break in,” Olivia told him with smirk.
“Whatever…are you coming or not?” her partner asked, as the other two men climbed into the van.
Olivia just smiled at him and slid the door shut, she turned to Alex, “So…you put fresh batteries in your camera right?” she asked with a grin.
“Of course…and I have extras,” the lawyer replied with a wink of her eye to the detective.
Laughing loudly at the response, the brunette moved to the driver’s side while Alex climbed into the passenger seat. It was now time to see if the guys hard work was going to pay off.

Later that night, as the two women watched the disguised men walk back and forth along a section of sidewalk- in one of the city’s more notorious pick-up spots, they couldn’t help but giggle over the comments coming over the hidden microphones the men wore.
“You’re still not walking correctly El,” they heard Munch say for the fourth time.
“Bite me, John,” came the reply from the surly detective as he tried to stroll provocatively along the sidewalk without turning an ankle.
“Bend over, Stabler,” quipped the skinny man in the sequined dress.

In the van Olivia was having to hold up Alex who collapsed against her from a fit of laughter as they listened in on the men.

“It’s not that hard man,” Fin added as he walked past Elliot, “you just have to put a little strut and roll in your step.”
“And I say once again you are scaring me with your knowledge of all this,” said Munch as Fin strutted by him.
“Told you Knobby Knees…I had way too many girl cousins around me growing up and I was the youngest, hence I was an easy target for dress-up,” Fin threw over his shoulder as he came to a stop under a streetlight and struck a suggestive pose after adjusting his dress again.

As Olivia scanned over the monitor screens before her she glanced sideways at her blonde partner, “Hey, did you get some good shots of them with your camera?”
Laughing softly Alex handed the detective her digital camera and watched as Olivia scrolled through the images, a wide smile appearing on her face, “Oh these are priceless; what are you planning to do with them?” she asked handing the device back to the lawyer.
A crooked grin popped up on Alex’s face and with a tilt of her head she replied, “Oh I thought I’d use them to get you some much need time off work, then maybe we could take that trip to Hawaii; me, you, a little suntan oil and a deserted beach.”
A dreamy look appeared on Olivia’s face as she imagined that scenario, “Yes please, that sounds wonderful,” she told the blonde.
With a smile on her face still Olivia turned her attention back to the monitors and saw movement on the edge of one of the screens, clicking her microphone on she signaled Elliot, “Hey El…there’s someone headed your way on foot, it may be our man,” her voice crackled over the earpiece in Elliot’s ear.
****************
“Showtime guys,” Elliot told the other two and they all took positions waiting on the approaching man.
The figure of the man grew closer and Elliot could make out his appearance now, the man was rather slight, dressed in rumpled clothing and a heavy jacket. ‘This can’t be our guy, there’s no way he could overpower the victims we took the statements from,’ the detective thought as he leaned against the brick wall and smiled as the man walked up to him.
“Hey there, want to have a good time?” Elliot asked in a voice pitched a little higher than his normal speaking tone.
“Sure, sugar,” the man replied moving to stand a little closer to the detective dressed in drag, “how about you and me go somewhere a little more private?”
With a nod of his head Elliot followed the man away from the other two undercover detectives and into a nearby alleyway leaving Fin and Munch to stare after them, “Liv?” Munch asked.
“El left his mic open,” the woman replied in his ear.
With a nod of his head Munch signaled to Fin everything was okay and they continued to stroll back and forth. A few minutes later across the street the door of the van sprang open and Liv jumped out, gun in hand as she yelled, “It’s him!” and ran towards the alleyway to help her partner.
Rushing after the female detective both Fin and Munch drew weapons, from who knows where, and ran into the alleyway to find Olivia standing with her gun pointed at the two figures on the ground. One being Elliot as he knelt on the back of the suspected attacker while cuffing him; coming to a stop next their colleague Munch asked, “So, this is the guy?”
Elliot rose from his position, a large knife in his hand, “Oh yeah, this is the guy, he used the same lines on me the victims told us and tried to play poke me with this little toy,” he remarked, while trying to pull down the short skirt that had ridden up in the struggle, “He’s lucky I didn’t have to chase him down in these shoes, cause I just might have roughed him up if I had to do that.”
Olivia holstered her weapon and then bent down to pull the man up from the ground, “Let’s take a little ride mister,” she told the suspect.
The men watched her drag the suspect towards the van and Munch turned to Elliot, “So what happened?”
“He propositioned me and when I said no, he pulled the knife…end of story,” Elliot replied, moving away from the two men.
Munch gave Fin an odd look as they watched Elliot limp away, “Come on…let’s check out the tape.”
The two moved quickly towards the parked van, where Olivia had the suspect cuffed to the passenger door as she discussed something with Alex. Munch walked up, “So, ladies, do you think my esteemed partner and myself could have a look at that tape?”
Olivia gave Alex a questioning look and the lawyer shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t see why not,” she told the two men.
As they moved to climb into the van they were halted by Elliot who appeared in the doorway, “ What do you think you’re doing?” he asked the two detectives.
“We were going to go over the tape…for purely investigative reasons,” John said with a smirk on his face.
“Yeh…purely investigative…that’s the word,” Fin added.
“Nope…don’t think so, this tape,” Elliot said holding up the videotape and waving in front of their faces as he stepped down from the van, “stays between me and the district attorney’s office.”
John groaned and looked over at Alex and Olivia, “Come on…you saw what happened…tell us,” he implored.
“Nope…if he doesn’t want to share then I can’t make him,” Alex told them and Olivia just shrugged, giving them a sorry look.
Grumbling to himself Munch waited until Elliot moved out of the way then climbed into the van, followed by Fin who just shrugged at the others before he took a seat.
Alex walked up to Elliot as Olivia went to move the suspect into the van and gave him a little smile, “So, El…I think you and I need to discuss a little unscheduled vacation time for Olivia.”
Running a hand over his face Elliot groaned, “I knew something like this would happen…what do you want?”
Olivia threw her blonde partner a smile as she walked by them and Alex just winked as she laid out her conditions for the brunette detective’s next vacation.
