Ok..Fewthistle posted this meme and since she is my friend and I love her writing so much I decided to give it a go(however goofy it may make me seem *grin*)
Someone gives you a letter and you list 10 things beginning with that letter and why they are important to you. Then other people leave YOU comments and YOU assign THEM a letter. Then the meme continues on for however long it will(I think..this is the first round robin kinda meme I've done). Anyhow...fewthistle gave me the letter J...so here it is....
1. Jonna---come on,of course I'm going to do this one..It's my name,it is who I am and will always be. I have only met two other people with my name,I guess this makes it unique. To know in the world there are only a chosen few who share such a name is special in some way I think.
2. John---this is the name of my father and my brother,and in a way me too. It is important to me because they are the two most important people in my life especially since my mother died. They will always be there for me,they will always love me and I will do the same for them.
3. Jeep---My Jeep Liberty,the one thing left to me by my mother that I will probably own for the rest of my life(unless,god forbid,I wreck it), But I won't cause I'm a good driver. It is my means of escape...when I feel boxed in or just plain fed up, I drive out into the country and cruise the back roads. Helps me clear my head and put new perspectives on my problems.
4.Jockey shorts--- the most comfortable underwear in the world! I can walk around all day long in my jockey shorts and if I need to go out just throw on some jeans and still be comfortable.
5.Jello--- My favorite dessert..see it wiggle.. watch it jiggle! My favorite flavors are Lime and Blue Raspberry,even better if you add pineapple chunks to it just before it sets completely! Yum!
6.Jellybeans---my favorite candy,especially the Jelly Belly brand. You never know what flavor you will get when you pop one in your mouth(I never look at the color chart). But my favorite flavors are popcorn,root beer and watermelon, I know what they look like and I dig them out first! (just bought a new box today in fact)
7.Jerky---(hmmm see a pattern here)....be it beef,venison or turkey...I could survive on jerky alone(I have a few time in college!) I,myself,can make some kick-ass jerky, better than what you could buy. I use to make huge batches and take it to work,by the end of the day it would be all gone and all the guys were asking for me to make more.
8.Jewelry--- I was never big on wearing much jewelry,but what I do own has special meaning to me. Be it the ring given to me by my first girlfriend,the necklace I got from my Mom,or the various pieces bought to commemorate vacations with friends. Everything I wear has a story and a memory. I also find myself partial to silver instead of gold..hmmm...
9.Journal--- whether it's my Live-journal or my written journal, it's a place to put my thoughts down. A place to rant and rave about things I think are important, to write about my day ,good or bad. With Live-journal it's a place to meet new people who might have the same interests as me and to read awesome stories about my favorite fandoms written by people who love them just as much as I do.
10.Junk--- they say that one man's junk is another man's treasure...in that case I'm going to make somebody really rich one day! I hardly ever throw anything away,it's all stored in the attic. Toys from my childhood,books that I have no room for,clothes that one day I will wear again...lol. I inherited my mother's treasures, old photos,china,knickknacks etc. One day the will go to someone else..
