Challenge #100 100 Challenge
Challenge # 56 Orange
Holding the firm round shape in her hand she ran a nail under the covering methodically peeling back a section. Her tongue slid out slightly, its tip poking out between her lips as she concentrated on removing the covering in one whole piece.
Succeeding in her endeavor she set the outer shell off to the side then dipped her head down as she took a section of it into her mouth, sucking gently and savoring the sweet taste.
There was the sound of chairs scraping on the floor as the other occupants left the table, looking up she saw the guys moving away rather quickly; her tongue darted out to catch a bit of the juice running down her chin as she glanced over at Janet, “Where are they going?”
The doctor gave her partner a crooked grin, “They suddenly felt the urge for citrus fruit,” she said.
“Ahh…” Sam said and then grinned, “What about you?”
“I’m waiting for you to eat the banana,” Janet replied with an evil grin.
Sam chuckled as she pulled another section of the orange off, popped it into her mouth and smiled at the doctor as she chewed.

Challenge #28 fun at the Fair
Eyeing her target, she drew back and let the ball fly forward to connect with the bottles; with a triumphant whoop she pointed out the object she wanted and the man passed it to her. Picking up another ball she prepared to throw yet again until a throat being cleared sounded behind her. Turning around she found Janet standing there with disbelieving look on her face.
“Don’t you think you have enough?” Janet asked gesturing at the pile of stuffed animals at her partner’s feet.
“Yeah lady…don’t you think you have enough,” the man behind the counter asked, “you’re gonna put me out of business.”
Sam shrugged and with a small grin set the ball down, “I was having fun beating it,” she said.
Janet shook her head and began picking the toys up, placing them in Sam’s arms, “There’s a limit to fun especially when the game is supposed to be rigged,” she said.
Sam peeked out from between animals stacked as high as her head now, “But that was why it was so much fun,” she whined.
Janet just gave her a look and turned to walk away; Sam followed, dropping the occasional toy, “Hey a little help here please,” she called.
“You had so much fun winning them…have fun carrying them,” was Janet’s reply as they made their way through the fairgrounds.

Challenge #39 P3X-595
“Not a single word Daniel,” Sam said as they walked back to the gate.
Trying to wipe the grin from his face Daniel replied, “I promise Sam…not a word,” he looked over at his friend, “but Jack might be a different matter.”
“Oh crap,” she muttered glancing up to see her CO standing beside the DHD with a big grin on his face.
As they neared the man he said in a loud voice, ”How’s the head this morning Carter?”
“Fine Sir…just fine,” she grumbled moving past him to dial the address home.
“I see you found your shirt,” Jack said, the grin never having left his face.
“I’d appreciate it if nothing was said about that ever again Sir, “ she said giving him a hard stare.
“Aw…come on Carter, you didn’t know that was some hard hooch you were drinking; so you got a little loose, no big deal,” he replied, still grinning.
“Still Sir…I’d rather it not be spread around,” she said staring at him, her eyes narrowing.
“Like I’d do something like that,” he remarked, giving her an innocent look.
The gate whooshed to life and she walked towards it, stopping she turned around then pulled her knife from its sheath; with a flick of her wrist she tossed it to land between his legs, “That was a warning, if I hear one word about the incident I’ll know where it came from…Sir,” she said in a flat tone.
Jack looked down at the knife, “Yeah…sure…not a word Carter…I swear,” he stuttered out.
Daniel reached down, picking up the knife, “If I were you Jack I’d keep that promise,” he said to the man and then followed Sam to the gate.
“Sheesh…can’t she take a joke?” he grumbled following the others as they entered the gate.
