*headdesk*...grrr
Sam lay half on half off the bed, letting her head hang upside down; two legs soon appeared, she looked up to find Janet staring down at her.
“Hi,” she said giving Janet a little wave.
“What are you doing?” The doctor asked.
“Thinking,” was the reply.
Janet sat down beside her partner, “About?”
Sam pulled herself up turning over to lie next to Janet, head resting on her crossed arms, “I think I broke her.”
“Who?” asked Janet.
“Our writer; she’s blocked again. I think I broke her brain with that last chapter,” grumbled Sam.
Janet grinned, “It was a little mind blowing wasn’t it?”
Sam turned her head to glance up at the doctor, “Oh yeah…just a bit; maybe I should have saved it for later in the story. Then she wouldn’t be having problems.”
“Well that may be part of it but I think those aren’t helping either,” Janet said pointing to several vest-wearing bunnies congregating in the corner.
“If we catch em and lock em up you think it would help?” asked Sam her face scrunched up in concentration.
“Couldn’t hurt; you go that way and I’ll go this way, let’s trap them,” Janet said rising from the bed.
The two slowly stalked towards the bunnies, being very very quiet. After a few moments of wild chasing, they captured all the bunnies and placed them in separate cages.
Janet dusted her hands off, “Now maybe she can get some writing done.”
“I hope so; some of those bunnies have great potential,” remarked Sam.
Janet nodded, “You want to go check on the others?”
“Sure, they’ve been too quiet lately; let’s see what they’re up to,” Sam held out her arm and Janet looped hers’ with it. The two waltzed out of the room leaving it empty except for the cages filled with plot bunnies.
