Heh..took a little break and the goldfish came out to play..Enjoy!

Come my friends...it's been awhile since we visted the goldfish...but it seems Minnie is still up to no good...shame on her...heh

Terline slowly swam towards the big rock, suddenly two streaks of color whizzed past causing the pale goldfish to spin in the water.

After getting her bearings back she swam up above the rock, “What did you two do?”

A twin chorus of, “Nothing,” was her answer.

Swimming down until facing them, she gave the two hiding in the rock a hard stare, “Nothing?”

“Okay…maybe we did something,” Cleo admitted under the stare.

Minnie nudged the calico goldfish, “Would you shush!”

The stare now fixed on Minnie; she began to twitch nervously, “Okay…maybe we tried to get at Flash’s food pellet again.”

“I thought I told you two to leave his food alone?” Terline scolded.

“Wellll…he was asleep under the rock fort and we thought we could get to it before he woke up,” Cleo said, ducking behind Minnie.

“And?” coaxed Terline.

“He woke up and caught us…” Minnie replied rather meekly.

“Where is he now?” asked Terline as she swam around the rock looking for the algae-eater.

“Ummm…he’s trapped in the cage,” Cleo said quickly.

“What!” exclaimed Terline; she began swimming towards the feeding cage. As she grew closer, she heard a series of rushed words; she could not quite understand him though, he was talking excessively fast.

“Wherearethey! WhenIgetoutofhereImgonnagetthem!”

“Flash! Calm down! You’re going to hurt yourself if you don’t be still!” Terline yelled trying to get his attention.

Theylockedmeinthecage! Terlinehelp!

“Okay just be still…we’ll get you out,” she said calmly, “Just be still.”

Flash stopped his frantic thrashing and calmed down, his gills pumping heavily as he mumbled strings of words.

“Get over here now you two!” Terline yelled towards the two delinquents.

“Do we have to?” was yelled back.

“Minnie! Cleo! Now!” Terline hollered, as she pumped her fins making herself look larger.

The two guilty fish slowly made their way over to the cage, “Hi Flash,” Minnie said cheerfully.

“Grrrrrr,” growled the algae-eater.

“Shush!” yelled Terline, as she tried to figure out the best way to move the large rock blocking the opening.

“How in the world did you two manage to knock that rock off the top?” she asked.

A chorus of, “She did it,” was the only reply.

Terline grumbled, “Fine, don’t tell me who did it; Minnie come over here, Cleo you get close to the top and I’ll push from the bottom. On the count of three push.”

“Is that…one…two…three push or one…two…three and then push?” asked Minnie.

“Just push when I do Minnie!” yelled Terline, her patience wavering.

“Okay…okay,” muttered Minnie, but she swam where Terline told her.

“One…two…three,” and they pushed the rock at the same time; slowly it rolled away from the opening and Flash burst out.

“ComehereImgonnagetyou!” he rushed out as he began chasing Minnie and Cleo around the tank.

Terline just floated up to the top of the tank and watched the algae-eater zip back and forth between the two goldfish chasing them around and through the ornaments. Whatever happened they deserved it she thought.

“But I really don’t think they will learn from it,” she sighed, but could not help but laugh as Flash trapped them under the rock fort.
