Challenge #107--In the Dark
“Why am I doing this?”
You’re tipsy and susceptible to suggestion.
“Oh yeah…that’s why.”
She stood behind the hanging coats…waiting
She couldn’t help but grin at her inner voice; but there was that part of her brain that said she was crazy to go along with Daniel’s idea.
The door opened and someone was pushed into the closet; she heard the pounding as they protested being shoved in the dark space.
“Daniel Jackson, you open this door right now!”
She cleared her throat.
“Who’s in here?”
“Me.”
“Sam?”
“Yep.”
Janet pushed away the coats until she could make out Sam’s form in the faint light from the edges of the door.
“Why are we in this closet?”
“Didn’t you ever play this game in high school?”
Sam could barely make out the grin on the doctor’s face.
“No…why don’t you explain the rules to me.”
Sam snaked her hands around Janet’s waist and pulled her close.
“Well…it goes a little something this.”
Janet giggled when she felt warm lips find the curve of her neck.
“Remind me to thank Daniel for…”
The sentence was cut off as lips found hers’ and nothing else was said for a very long time.
