Yep...I'm bored...and the fluff I'm working on stopped wanting to be written....so...you get goldfish crack!...heh...hope it makes somebody laugh!

Join me …my friends…as we pay another visit to Terline and Minnie…two goldfish who have no clue what I am doing with them…lol

It was another tranquil day in the bowl; Terline was occupying herself with trying to read the back covers of the DVDs next to the tank.

“I wonder how I can get the human to play some of these…they look quite interesting,” she said to herself. Maneuvering her body until she was almost upside down she noticed Minnie doing laps around the bottom of the tank, “Is she ever going to stop doing that?” the pale goldfish wondered.

Just then their human walked into the room, she was carrying something in her hands. Minnie noticed the movement, stopping with her daily laps she floated up next to Terline.

“Is it feeding time already?” she asked.

“Food and racing…is that all you think about?” Terline asked.

“Well…yeah, what else is there?” Minnie replied as she spun in place.

“Oh…you could let me teach you how to read, expand your mind, you know,” remarked Terline.

“Nope…doesn’t need expanding; I like my mind just the way it is. What’s she doing?” asked Minnie when she noticed the human removing the top of the tank, “That’s not how she feeds us.”

“I think we’re going to have company,” grumbled Terline.

“Company? Company! There’s barely enough room for the two of us in here,” blurted out Minnie.

A hand reached into the tank, removing the rock centerpiece and kicking up debris not picked up by the filter.

“Hey she took my rock!” yelled Minnie, and then she noticed all the stuff floating in the water now, “OOOO…cool! Leftovers!”

Terline just gave a shrug with her fins, “That is just gross,” she said watching Minnie go crazy trying to gulp up old food flakes.

Minnie stopped, rotating her body upwards she burped out a large flake, “Nah…it’s easier to digest after sitting for a few days; you should try it,” she replied turning to face downwards again, gulping up more flakes.

Terline let out a little fish sigh, turning her attention back to the human she noticed the top was still off the tank and the human was now placing a bag into the water, “Yep…we’re getting a new tank mate,” she grumbled.

As the bag entered the water Terline could see the occupant, it was a small black goldfish with a very pretty tail. The black fish was trying to push its way out of the bag. Terline swam up close to the bag, watching the other fish’s frantic movements; she could just barely hear it yelling, “Help! Get me out of here!”

“Just calm down,” Terline yelled, “she’ll let you out soon. Just stop acting all spastic; you’ll waste your air!”

The black fish stopped suddenly at that comment, “What!” it exclaimed.

“Oh great…another Minnie,” grumbled Terline.

Just then Minnie swam up from the bottom, floating next to the bag she eyed the new fish, “Well at least it…” she turned upside down, looking under the bottom, “she…yep…definitely a she, at least she’s small; think we can survive with the three of us in here?” she asked floating to swim beside Terline.

Suddenly the bowl shaped tank moved. “Whoa! What now?” Minnie yelled out as she swam over to the side trying to see what was happening.

“I don’t think we need to worry about space,” Terline answered, noticing the new, larger tank being slid onto the shelf along side their present home.

“OOOO…cool,” yelled Minnie, “More room to race!” With that remark, she took off to race around the bottom of the bowl all excited and happy.

Terline watched as their human filled the tank with water, then shiny stones and their rock she had removed. While the human fiddled with the filter set-up Terline swam up to the new fish again.

“It shouldn’t be much longer now. She’ll let you out shortly I imagine,” she yelled at the black fish. The little fish just nodded, floating quietly as she watched the human work.

Sure enough, the human soon finished with the new tank, turning her attention to the floating bag she removed it and untied the knot, pouring the new fish into the small bowl.

The new fish exited the bag in a rush of water, “Whoa!” she yelled as she entered the bowl, swirling around for a second she came to a stop, “Hey…that was kind of fun!”

Minnie swam up to check out the new fish, swimming around her in circles she looked at Terline, “So…do the lip reading thing; does she have a name?”

“Give me a minute,” Terline replied watching the human crouch down to their level as she talked.

“Well? Did she name her?” Minnie asked swimming around Terline all excited.

Terline swam over to their new companion, “Welcome to your new home, she said your name is Vala,” she told the small black fish.

“Cool… I’m Minnie and that’s Terline…come on Vala, let’s play!” Minnie yelled as she pushed the smaller fish towards the bottom and started racing around her. Vala just looked back up at Terline with a shocked gape that screamed, Help!

Terline just laughed, two days…two days, that is what else their human had said, two days before they could move into the new tank. She just hoped Minnie did not kill poor Vala with her exuberance. Floating back to the top she watched as Vala gave in to Minnie’s efforts and began racing around the bottom of the tank also.

“Yep…I’m stuck with two of them now,” Terline sighed as she watched the light reflect off the rocks in the new tank, counting the minutes until two days were up.
