weird moon

Okay...did anybody else in the Southern part of the US see the moon last night? It had this 3-D, telescopic thing happening. I swore I was seeing things and after rubbing my eyes several times...nope I was seeing correctly...tried to get a shot of it but darnit...I didn't have a long enough lens on the Sigma...bleh...I was just wondering if it was supposed to happen or if it was some sort of atmospheric thing...cause it was sort of semi cloudy and really muggy last night...just thought I'd ask if anybody else noticed...toodles!
